Some Me Time at hidden gem, Babooshka Cafe

I love it when you wander down a laneway and find a fantastic new café. This time it included a range of cute pepper and salt Babushka dolls.

This week I’ve been exploring the new street art popping up around Perth for public 2015. I thought I’d start with Northbridge but I was a tad early so I popped down a laneway for a little bit of Me Time. When I got there I found Babooshka and was welcomed in by super friendly staff.

The food looked so good I was pleased to find that it was getting close to lunchtime … perfect excuse for a bagel.

The vegetarian bagel was one of the best I’ve ever had, seriously. The eggplant was a nice creamy surprise amongst the olives and tomatoes, then the Danish feta cheese just topped it all off.

I can highly recommend it and will definitely be popping in there again when I set off exploring again later this week. If you get there I’d love to know what you think of it too.
