After the movie I bumped into one of the ladies in the audience who’d won the Best Dressed Award. I’m sure you’ll agree she looks fabulous. What an inspiration.

As I watched the crowd dissipate  I pondered …

1. It’s true … style really is ageless.
2. Looking around the room it seemed that as we mature we grow into ourselves and feel comfortable with our own style, whatever form it takes.
3. That the more years a person has the more they smile and shine, especially when they realise they aren’t invisible.
4. I also realised that I really do need to make more of an effort. That if an 70+ year old can make the effort I have no excuse … still … if I could just have one of those makeup angles on standby I’m sure I’d feel a lot more comfortable.
