100 tips for a guilt-free Work Life Balance (Me Time now online)

Most of you will know I am passionate about helping people find more ‘me time’ and have more balanced lives.

Last month I was invited to speak at a conference about my latest book Me Time: 100 strategies for guilt-free me time. I’m absolutely thrilled to say the presentation won the ‘People’s Choice Award for most Entertaining Paper. I was thrilled for three reasons. First the word is spreading about living a more balanced life. Secondly it’s resulted in more speaking engagements so I can keep spreading the word, and third I didn’t make a fool of myself, evidently, although maybe that’s what they meant by ‘entertaining’?

Anyway I can also report that the book Me Time … is now available on line in a pdf version.

The whole reason for writing this book was to help people stop and realise that there are many small ways that you can get time for yourself, without having to upset your whole life. There are also several psychology tricks you can do to change your mindset and not feel guilty when you do get some time off.

For those of you who don’t know the book is based on the 9 months I spent talking to people across Australia, it includes 100 strategies, tips, quotes and photos. Like all ebooks it’s about a quarter of the price of a paper book (so $5.99)

You can pick up a copy here http://www.palmerhiggsbooks.com.au/me-time-pdf-edition.html

And here’s the review that appeared in The West Australian …

‘Marsdon takes every day activities such as going to the bathroom or driving your car and finds a a way to turn them into ‘me time’. Start yours by reading more than 100 strategies for gaining guilt-free time just for you’ (Writing WA in The West Australian)

Happy reading and if you come across any more ‘me time’ ideas I’d love to hear them.
