Hidden Spaces #4: How small can a cafe be? (Crib Lane)

2

Can a café be too small? This was what I was pondering after spying a sign for Crib Lane. A wonderful café hidden away in a skinny laneway.

Taking one step inside the door I was pleasantly surprised to find another little secret haven in Perth’s CBD.

The décor was a wonderful collection  of wooden seats, and a long bench.

The muffins on the front counter were hard to go past.

Eventually I settled on a salmon bagel which was a delight, as was the presentation on a wooden board. The girls didn’t scrimp of the salmon and their suggestion to toast the bagel was a good one. A perfect size for lunch.

Sadly it’s only open for breakfast and lunch, but it can be booked for private parties, which I’d seriously think about.

It would be perfect for a bookclub or even small product marketing event.
