This month saw a repeat visit to Subiaco restaurant Funtastico. I’ve been there a handful of times now and have always had a great time. I can always rely on simple, quality food and thanks to a great host, I’ve often made new friends with other diners.

With only two of us we chose a prawn pizza to share. On the table next to us they were ordering one of these each!

We chose to combine this with a simple rocket salad to help cut through the cheesy richness of the pizza. Turned out to be a perfect combination. You know what? I’d be happy to go back just for the salad.

With no room for dessert we finished with coffees.
Aside from the food, the ambiance is perfect for people who want to catch up and hear what you’re talking about. Another successful visit in the bag.
