Sometimes I want to have a quick catch up with friends rather than a full on meal. On these nights to key criteria are – easy to get to, good food, easy to hear. I can report that the front Lobby Bar at the Duxton Hotel Perth was a nice find.

Inside the decor made us all feel very special and the staff were extremely accommodating to the growing number of people joining our table.
The food was delivered in good time. Chilli chicken wings didn’t last long. The pizza was equally well received, the thin crust and vegetarian topping helping expunge the guilt of the wings.
