Lunchtime deals offer a great way for customers to try a new restaurant without committing to a full meal, but sometimes they can be hit and miss. A friend and I recently had a great experience at Recipe Restaurant.
Both on our lunchbreaks we had an hour free and decided to check out a restaurant that we’d often driven past … Recipe Restaurant on Terrace Road. The experience ticked all the boxes.
The lunchtime menu had about twelve options rather than the usual one or two specials, and the prices ranged from 9.90 to about $15. We both picked vegetarian options which came in at $9.90. Then we sat back pondering whether we’d get an entrée sized meal or something more. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a full meal that was guaranteed to keep us going for the rest of the day and then some. Both meals had fresh ingredients, crisp asparagus yum. The meals arrived quickly and with enough time for us to enjoy rather than shovel in.
As we made our way back to work we pondered …
- How often do you get a freshly cooked restaurant meal for $9.90?
- Views of the Swan River were an added bonus.
- How were we going to ignore the napping inducing call from our very satisfied bellies?
- Would it be too embarrassing to go back the next day?
