No doubt like me there have been times when you’ve missed lunch but it’s too early for dinner. What to do I hear you pondering? All too often I reach for something I shouldn’t, but today I found a great solution, or so I thought, until someone walked passed with a Halloween costume under their arm, and I was reminded about bone health.
Yesterday, having missed lunch, I dropped into Tao Café in Victoria Park and picked a couple of plates off the sushi train.

Sushi rolls and Crab balls. So much more appealing and nutritious than an ice cream or carrot cake. And the total bill for three plates and a pot of tea came to only $15.
But then …

I spied a couple of things that I didn’t expect to see on a sushi train…
Monster macaroons, and what looked like a cheese cake and a chocolate mousse.

Remembering the Scream for Halloween information I posted earlier, I pondered:
- Maybe I could argue that the milk content in the chocolate mousse would help me keep my bones healthy.
- Or maybe I could trick my mind into thinking that my healthier sushi options meant I could indulge in a treat … or too.
Either way Tao Café is definitely worth a visit … for the healthy options obviously.
