For a while now Perth’s fashion scene has been gaining attention overseas. The Future Runway show at this years Telstra Perth Fashion Festival, suggests this won’t stop soon, as it uncovered another interesting group of designers to watch.

On the night the overall winner of the Top Student award was Jessica Moro from Curtin University. Earlier on she also won the Evening Wear and Costume categories.

I don’t know what would be more nerve-racking, having your creative ideas on show or walking down the runway next to the model at the end. One things for sure, the student show is always one of the most interesting parades to watch. Keep an eye out for next years.
