Etro Bar and Bistro where the eyes follow you

If you’re wandering the newly painted laneways of Perth CBD, include a peek into Etro Bar and Bistro in Munster Lane off Kings Street. I defy you to not feel like you are being watched.

Etro has several eating options: outside in the laneway; in the main dining area; or upstairs on the balcony which is used for functions. Either way it’s a great place to sit and ponder while the working world traipses by.

I dropped in for a quick top up during the Public Perth street art project and had one of the best Bruschetta’s I’d ever eaten and I’ve eaten a lot.

Not only were the tomatoes fresh and the bread crisp, the chef added a welcoming layer of avocado. This one addition made the whole thing richer.

The size meant I didn’t have room to try another dish, so I vowed to return another day.

Given the new and magnificent street art placed in and around Wolf Lane, Etro and the lavish mural fit in perfectly.

I recommend it as a pit stop while you check out Perths makeover.
