Normally when a tentland springs up in the centre of town it has negative connotations. Not so the current invasion of Russell Square in Northbridge. A quick tour shows its inhabitants intensions are, as the name suggests, … pure pleasure.

The array of tents are beautiful and left me pondering about what life must have been like when they were permanently in use. I highly recommend a visit to The Pleasure Garden, day or night, even if it’s just to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Here’s a sample of what you’ll find.
