The Beaufort Street Festival continues to be one of the best examples of Creating Communities around. Now in it’s fourth year it still amazes me that this massive event is put together by the local community. Hats off to Paul Fletcher, Aaron Butler, the organising committee and all the volunteers for yet another highly successful year. Here’s a small sample of what happened, more posts will follow.

Strange apparatus … in this case The Orrery, one of ten custom built dream-scape planets. The frame is made of clockworks, cogs and gears. It is driven my two people sitting on the chairs and pedalling to make the planets move. What happens when the planets align???
