If you haven’t been into the Perth Cultural Centre this month you really are in for a big surprise. A warm, welcoming community spirit has taken over what’s normally a cold, empty, concrete space.

For those of you who can’t get down there I thought you might like to see what’s happened since Fringe World’s moved in. The ‘last minute’ ticket tent reminded me of life in London. The Urban Garden is looking fantastic and a great testiment to the community feel spreading through the city.It left me pondering that … hopefully there will be a flow on effect, and some of this enhanced community spirit will remain after all the tents are inevitably packed away.

Wow If only the Perth Cultural Centre could always look as good.
Your photos got me off the couch and a quick run into the city.
There should be greater public awareness of how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful citydx
Community spirit rocks. Nice piece.
Thanks Chris totally agree love seeing examples of community spirit so if find any send them over and I’ll feature them for you. Thanks heaps for your comment.
Dx I don’t think I’ve ever got off the couch to quickly run anywhere, and definitely not to the gym! Glad you went to see it. Agree Perth is a great city and getting more and more interesting all the time. Thanks heaps for your comment I love getting them
