As I ponder the tournaments move to the new stadium next year I feel compelled to give thanks to the years of brilliant organisation by Paul McNamee et al.
It’s been a real treat watching all the top seeds prepare for the Australian Open, from John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Pat Cash, Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Rodger Federer, Marat Safin, Pat Rafter, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray to Lleyton Hewitt, Serena Williams, Kim Clisters and Caroline Wozniacki. An unbelievable sight in our hideaway on the west coast.
